Today we said goodbye to a very special person. Michael Jackson the king of pop. We never can say goodbye to him. He will always have a very special place in each of our hearts. WOW!!! It's the 1st Day of Summer...The longest day of the year. It's also Father's Day and I am so blessed to still have my Father. Of course I have my Heavenly Father who loves me as well. The love of a natural father is so rewarding and truly a blessing from the Lord. Take heart if you still have your Dad and give him all the love you can. Our Heavenly Father loved us so much that He gave His only begotten Son to save us. What's His Name...JESUS!!! Isn't that Awesome!!! Summer will be gone in a split minute. Well it's Vacation Bible School this week and I am in charge of crafts for the 2-9 year olds. I know it is a long range but sometimes the older kids help with the younger ones. OMG!!! Where Does The Time Go....

Oh My Gosh...I have got to get a handle on this blogging thing. I am so far behind I can't see in front of me. I am so sorry I have been a bad girl in blogging. Let's see now...what have I been doing? Well...I went on a Scrapbooking Retreat the end of April...Made over 50 cards. Had a wonderful time with my "Peeps". We are the Scrappy Chicks!! Still got to take pictures to share with you. I took a trip to Richmond to visit family. Then there's Mother's Day!!! It's still so hard to celebrate this holiday since my Mom went home to be with the Lord. I miss her so much. I just thank God her spirit is always with me and she lives in my heart. Love ya...MOM!!!
Getting away this weekend again to Richmond. Taking a card project with me. Will share when I get back. It's still Spring and I had to put on a jacket this morning. What's up with that?? My DH is planting me a little garden. He's so sweet. Gotta go now...Thanks for stopping by. TTFN....

MS Walk...

Hello Everyone..
I had a great Easter and I hope you did as well. I just wanted to let everyone know that I am still among the living. It's been a while since I posted as I have been very busy. I am getting ready for a Scrapbooking Retreat at Smith Mountain Lake. YEAH....baby 3 full days of nothing but me time. My sweetie and I got up and went to the MS Walk at our local park this morning. Having had Polio...I could identify with the MS survivors. I have post polio syndrome but I can still walk. I only walked 1.6 miles but to God Be The Glory I made it that far with His help. I am still standing with His help. It has been a beautiful day in Virginia. I got to touch a real Llama today. Felt kinda funny and fuzzy. They have such a cute face.
